Dronebotics, operated by GB Trade and Logistics Inc., is a Canadian commercial drone services company founded by two Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operations certified pilots. We deliver aerial data for infrastructure, construction, agriculture, mining, and public safety clients across Canada, and cinematic aerial coverage for weddings and milestone events — with the regulatory credentials, operational discipline, and data rigor that serious projects require.
Why Dronebotics?
We chose this name deliberately. “Dronebotics” is not a description of today's service menu — it is a statement of where we are heading. Drones are our starting platform. Over the next three to five years, our ambition extends into broader autonomous robotics systems: aerial and ground-based platforms working in coordination on complex industrial sites, intelligent data pipelines, and autonomous inspection regimes that don't require a human standing at the controls for every pass.
We are early in that journey. But naming the company “Dronebotics” was an explicit commitment to building toward it, and every client engagement, every certification, and every operational protocol we put in place today is infrastructure for that longer arc.

Gbemiga John
Co-Founder & CEO — Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operations Certified
Gbemiga holds a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operations certification, having completed both the written examination and flight review required for the Advanced category. He leads Dronebotics' business development, client relationships, proposal writing, project pricing, and financial management. Gbemiga also flies as a certified Pilot-in-Command on client projects, meaning the same person who scoped your project and built your proposal is often the one in the field executing it.
Keisa Henry
Co-Founder & COO — Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operations Certified
Keisa holds a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operations certification and leads Dronebotics' operational side: flight planning, airspace authorization, equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, and standard operating procedure development. She also oversees data processing and quality review before any deliverable leaves the company, and flies as a certified Pilot-in-Command on client engagements. The result is a COO who has direct, first-hand accountability for every deliverable's quality.
Credentials & Compliance
Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operations Certificate
Both Gbemiga and Keisa hold Advanced certification — the higher of the two tiers. Advanced Operations certification authorizes operations in controlled airspace (Class B, C, D, and F), operations within 3 nautical miles of a certified aerodrome, and operations closer to bystanders than Basic certification permits. For commercial clients, this distinction is material: it means our pilots can legally operate in exactly the environments where the work is — near infrastructure, construction sites, active aerodromes, and populated areas.
CARs Part IX Compliance
Transport Canada regulates commercial RPAS operations under Canadian Aviation Regulations Part IX. All Dronebotics operations are planned and executed in full compliance with these regulations — mandatory NOTAM review, airspace authorization through NAV CANADA's RPAS authorization systems where required, pre-flight safety assessments, and post-flight documentation.
